Self Adhesive, Iron on or Sew on?

Self adhesive, Iron on or Sew on ?

Admitted a sew on embroidered piece may take a little longer to attach, but the time is negligible and the advantages are many compared with a self adhesive or iron on.

How many times have we admired a beautiful piece of embroidery, attached to a particular garment, only to observe its overall appearance looking dreadfully tatty, purely for the fact that it is becoming detached from around its edges?

We at Prestige Artworks very much appreciate, if you want a quality garment to be adorned by a quality piece of embroidery, doing the job right first time is paramount.

How many garments do we know of that are glued together?
Do we glue the collar, the arms and the pockets onto a shirt or jacket?
Do we glue the legs and pockets onto jeans or trousers?

Of course not, so why would we possibly choose a self adhesive or iron on embroidered piece when if the truth is known, it won’t be long before it becomes unattached?

We at Prestige Artworks only produce 100% embroidered sew on pieces.

100% embroidery naturally flexes with materials, lasts a lifetime and enables ease of sewing on.
Incorporating a five millimetre merrowed border not only protects the beauty of the embroidery and prevents the piece from fraying, but assures that attachment by sewing is virtually invisible and more importantly permanent.

No special sewing machine or sewing skills are needed, even when attaching to the thickest of materials such as leather or suede. If you prefer you can even sew them by hand.
