 From the Humble Beginings....
Prestige Artworks was founded by Peter Rooke and began to take shape in October 2008. Peter has always been a very keen artist (Trust me a very good one at that!) Ever since he was a young lad his dream was to become part of the Disney Cartoon Creation Team, but as in many cases, finances became a major factor and unfortunately his parents could not afford to send him to university. Therefore that dream was no longer a possibility.
Peter then put all of his hard work and effort into making a product that is unique and that his customers would enjoy as much as he did.....alas Prestige Artworks was born!
It all started in the Study of his home where a few sketches were placed on a plain piece of paper and as those sketches became more and more detailed they transformed into the wonderful pieces of art you see before you today!
Peter is a very keen motorcyclist and to date has been riding for 37 years. No suprise then, that his family soon joined him in enjoying his favorite past time. This ladies and gentleman is where Peter got his idea from to start his venture with Prestige Artworks.
Peter has always been a man of particular tastes and the products he purchases have to be of the highest quality. So one afternoon after another art session in his study, Peter thought to himself 'Why not make these pieces into 100% embroidered patches and make them of the highest quality, so potential cutomers can sew them on to not only motorcycle leathers but to which ever clothing garment they wish to choose!? Whether they be leather jackets, denim skirts, suede jackets, leather dresses...the list is endless! They would look absolutely fantastic!' So low and behold Peter set to work and produced these magnificent unique patches and started selling them to customers and received an unprecedented response!
